How Can You Enjoy Board Games on PlayStation 4?

The best console for board games is PS4. If you are like me, you love board games and when I heard about the new consoles coming out, I was as excited as anyone. For people who like your gaming presented in a much more digital way, the PlayStation 4 really is an almost-perfect home for all board games. Let’s take a look at some of the great features of the new PlayStation 4 and how it is rivaling the other current consoles.

One of the most interesting new features of the PlayStation 4, and one that I have enjoyed the most is the new in-game menu, or games menu. If you are not familiar with it, the game’s menu takes the traditional board games and flips it 180 degrees and presents it as a game that is played on-line. You can either play first person view, third person view, or an observer role (I love this! ), it really depends on what type of board game you are playing and how you would like to view it.

Another feature that many board games will be able to take advantage of with the PlayStation 4 is multi-player. Board games were traditionally played with two players, often times more depending on the game itself, but even the classic games like Risk and Monopoly will allow for multi-player. This is a feature that is available for all board games, but now it is offered in all games, so you do not need to buy the games that only allow for single player play. Playing Risk with your friends or family is a great way to spend time with them and see what they are up to; it also makes the game more social that can appeal to both hardcore gamers and those who would just like to have a good board game night with friends. If you are thinking of having a party and want to have some board games to play, then you will definitely want to make sure that you are able to play with everyone else because if you start out with only two people then the game will be a lot slower and less fun than it could have been.
