This was a gift that I never used or even opened. Brand new and sealed contents. All my items are in great working order and the pictures you see are of the actual item. I take many more high-res photos of each before packaging and of the packaging to keep buyers honest because I’ve had some folks try to force a return. Here’s the deal with my pricing, shipping and return policy for all items I sell. (A.K.A. “the small print) Pricing: If I put an item to auction there is never a reserve price. If you win it, it’s yours. I expect buyers who need more than 24 hours to make payment to send me a message before auction end or immediately after. If you don’t have the cash on hand I would encourage you to not bid on the item in question. If I put an item at a fixed price buy-it-now with no “best offer” option than the price is the price and I will not respond to offer messages(I’m a busy guy and I really, really don’t like receiving low-ball offer messages). If I do have a buy-it-now listing with a best offer option, go ahead and send me an offer. If your offer is automatically rejected that’s that. Shipping: I use the shipping calculator for all items. The price you pay for shipping is the price it actually costs to ship. Plain and simple and fair. I could include shipping in the cost and call it “free” but as a seller I get charged fees on every dollar an item sells for so I don’t try to play the marketing game anymore. I may need business 2 or 3 days to have time to drop your item off at the shipping depot. Often I ship earlier than expected but I always select “3 days” as the shipping speed. I only sell in the continental U.S. unless someone in Hawaii, Alaska or P.R. sends me a special request)I usually ship USPS but if you need the shipping changed for some reason just send me a message and I’ll try to accommodate. I don’t set up multiple item shipping options because the system doesn’t work well. If you buy multiple items from me at the same time I will automatically group them into one box, ship them together and refund you the difference as I believe in being fair and not trying to make money on shipping and handling.Returns and Items Damaged in transit: Simply put I do not take returns unless the item doesn’t match the listing(this has never happened to me in 10 years as a seller)If something doesn’t work as you expect please message me before freaking out. I sell a lot of electronics and mechanical items and buyer ignorance does not count as “defective”. I only sell my own stuff and never buy to re-sell so everything I have is in tip-top shape and guaranteed to work as advertised. Anything I’m not sure of gets donated to the local H.O.P.E. store and doesn’t make it to eBay.If an item is damaged in transit it it the buyers responsibility to follow up with the shipping carrier. In 10 years I’ve never had an item get damaged(because I pack with care) or lost. If something is damaged as a buyer you need to photograph the damaged shipping box and follow up with USPS(or other) immediately. If you don’t take photos and save the packaging as it was they will do nothing for you and neither can I.
